Terms of Service
Last updated 18 October 2026
In short: HoverPill is free. Use it as you like on your own PCs. It comes as it is, without guarantees. When you connect Google, ChatGPT or Claude Code, their own terms apply to what you do with them.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover the HoverPill app for Windows and this website, both made by Preetinder Singh Badesha ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using HoverPill, or using this website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use HoverPill.
Using HoverPill
- HoverPill is free. You may install and use it on any PCs you use, for personal or work use.
- Please don't use HoverPill to break the law, to get around the security of other software, or to access accounts or data you aren't allowed to.
- Download HoverPill from this website, so you know you're getting the real installer.
Other services you connect
HoverPill can work with services run by other companies. They're optional, they're provided by those companies, and their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them:
- Google Calendar, under Google's Terms of Service. HoverPill only reads your calendars.
- ChatGPT, under OpenAI's Terms of Use. Questions you ask in HoverPill use your ChatGPT plan's included usage and count against its limits. ChatGPT can be wrong; check anything important.
- Claude Code, under Anthropic's terms. When you approve a request in the notch, Claude Code runs that command on your PC, just as if you'd approved it in the terminal. You're responsible for what you approve.
HoverPill isn't made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Google, OpenAI, Anthropic or Microsoft. Their names are used only to say what HoverPill works with.
Your data
How HoverPill handles your data is explained in the Privacy Policy. In short, it stays on your PC, and we don't receive it.
Updates
We may release new versions of HoverPill that change, add or remove features. We may also stop working on HoverPill. Versions you've already installed keep working as they are, though services run by others (like Google or OpenAI) may change in ways that affect them.
Ownership
HoverPill, its name, logo and website belong to us. These terms let you use HoverPill; they don't transfer ownership of it. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners.
No warranty
HoverPill is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will show every notification, event or reminder. Don't rely on it for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or time, arising from your use of HoverPill or this website, including commands you approve for Claude Code and answers from ChatGPT. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed what you paid for HoverPill, which is nothing, or the lowest amount the law allows.
Ending
You can stop using HoverPill at any time by uninstalling it, and disconnect any service in its Settings. If you break these terms, your permission to use HoverPill ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using HoverPill after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
